Tarentum Myrtle Tarentum Myrtle is a small evergreen shrub of dense growth, and dark green, pointed leaves carried in abundance. In late Summer through to Autumn, pink buds open to white-cupped fragrant flowers with many yellow stamens. Tarentina has leaves slightly narrower than the standard Common Myrtle. Tarentina is a compact form, which reaches 1.5m tall and wide. This small-leaved myrtle has large, pink-tinted cream flowers in summer offset beautifully by glossy, dark green leaves.
